Could we at least re-skin the flailsnail? it seems so god-damned jokey that I can't take it seriously.

You'll notice a few sea creatures. I'd like to keep the stats but convert some of these creatures for land use. Like they got left behind by the receding tides and evolved. If you do EDIT the lists, maybe do it in another colour so we can spot new additions?

I've got no problems with what you've identified (except my bit about flailsnails) - I'm all for "evolving" the sea creatures; maybe as a residual effect of the dead-god magic, they float around in the air as if they were swimming in some areas. Otherwise it's easy to make them "swim" through all the dust.

Otherwise it's easy to make them "swim" through all the dust. I'm picturing this enormous manowar 'fishing' from the clouds. But yeah, most of these things are 'swimming' through the dust or loose soil. The Dinichthys is hanging out at the bottom of the pond at Bowmans Pastures. He plagues the 'crab' (trilobite) fishermen. I need more living-fossil ideas...

More love from our silent partner sketchy ! riffing on that whole Thing Attached to the Head, Illithid Symbiosis thing I was going on about. Gaaaah! A literal reskin like I've been talking about. Kind of skirts IP issues...

Still more nightmare fuel from the fevered imagination of sketchy! Carnivorous Plants. Disturbing filename... Well that's disturbing... Thanks again to Sketchy. Keep it coming buddy! If anybody has something they'd particularly like illustrated, let us know. Maybe put a link to the appropriate description etc...

The things always seemed kind of horrifying to me though... It seems like it would be easy to give it the Lovecraft treatment, just turn the shell into a carapace and make the flails into spiked pseudopods. The only thing wring with it is the name and the picture.

I think DP had a snail too: "A giant psychic snail that hosts a mirage community, which it sustains in order to eat the dreams anyone that sleeps within its borders." I'm riffing on this, thinking there should be a variety of evolved mollusks and bivalves. Snails, Slugs, Clams, Conchs and such...

What even is this? If we can't find a use for it, I'll throw it in my other mega-project... sketchy is a machine this week!

"The Great Horned Death", harvester of souls for the blood wars of Hell. I can see it as a wandering threat, visible from far away, but perhaps so old that it posses knowledge about The Vanished that the players need to access the "BONUS VANISHED TREASURE AREA". The problem - it only wants souls, and will accept no other form of payment. Now how does one get their hands on a soul?
